Reason / Defects: The products are being recalled because the sand may contain asbestos, which is a prohibited substance in Australia. Hazards: The products may cause a risk to health as initial testing found unidentified mineral fibres that were consistent with tremolite – type asbestos. What to do: Stop using the products immediately. For safe disposal advice from the Asbestos and Silica Safety and Eradication Agency, visit the ACCC Product Safety website .
