Reason / Defects: Small metal pieces can detach from the press during use. Hazards: Detached metal pieces can be swallowed with food and cause injuries. Injuries have occurred. What to do: Check the date stamp on your garlic press. If the date is from 2411 to 2522, it is affected. If in doubt, contact IKEA. Immediately stop using affected garlic presses and contact IKEA for a full refund. No receipt or proof of purchase is required. IKEA also encourages consumers to spread the word about this recall, especially if they know that the recalled product was offered, lent or sold to someone else. Aluminium chrome plated garlic press with a black plastic handle with date stamps 2411 to 2522. Affected products can be identified by a marking of the IKEA logo on the upper handle of the product as shown.
