Reason / Defects: The products are being recalled because the sand inside the assorted character figures may contain asbestos, which is a prohibited substance in Australia. Hazards: The sand inside the assorted character figures may cause a risk to health if the product is damaged and the sand is released as tremolite asbestos has been detected in some samples after laboratory testing. What to do: 1. Stop using the products immediately. 2. For safe disposal advice from the Asbestos and Silica Safety and Eradication Agency, visit the ACCC Product Safety website . 3. Contact Woolworths Group Limited for a full refund. Important message from the ACCC to consumers: The ACCC continues to work with health and safety, and other relevant agencies at the state, territory and Commonwealth levels as this issue evolves.
