Reason / Defects: The actuator link rod in the shifting system may break during use, causing a loss of the gear shift operation. Hazards: Risk of serious injury, death or property damage if the operator loses control of the vessel and is unable to stop. Incidents have occurred. What to do: 1. Stop using boats with the affected engines until they have been rectified. 2. Visit Honda Marine Product Recalls or contact your nearest Authorised Honda Marine Dealer to check if your engine is affected and requires a free repair.
