Reason / Defects: The product packaging has been misprinted with an incorrect rating which indicates that more current can be drawn through the product than its actual capacity. Hazards: Risk of serious injuries or death if the product melts the fuses and fuse block and causes a fire. What to do: Important message from the ACCC to consumers: Stop using the product immediately The ACCC and Energy Safe Victoria are in discussions with the supplier about an appropriate remedy. Consumers can exercise their rights to a remedy in accordance with the consumer guarantees which may entitle them to a full refund or a replacement product that is free of defects.
