Excessive braking force may cause the outermost carbon layers to delaminate, resulting in cracks and weaken the fork structure. This can lead to a complete failure of the left fork blade.

Reason / Defects: Excessive braking force may cause the outermost carbon layers to delaminate, resulting in cracks and weaken the fork structure. This can lead to a complete failure of the left fork blade. Hazards: Risk of death, serious injury or property damage in the event of an accident if the fork fails while the bike is in use. Incidents have occurred. What to do: Stop using the affected bikes immediately. Visit the CUBE website to check your frame serial number. Return to the place of purchase for inspection and to replace the affected fork.
